Residential renovation and new build case studies:

As with all of our clients, first and foremost we respect their privacy and thank them for allowing us to use their development as an example in this site.

EXAMPLE 1 : Whitefield, Manchester

This particular project consisted of two individual extensions. one to the front elevation combining a triple garage at ground level and a media room on the first floor.

Special attention was necessary to ensure that the materials used matched those of the existing house perfectly. This was achieved, along with the highest quality finish to the media room.

The rear single story extension was individually designed to suit the owners' requirements with the emphasis on bringing the gardens into the house.

As you can see, the bespoke aluminium doors create exactly that feeling... allowing our client to fold them back completely and enjoy an uninterrupted view of the grounds beyond.

EXAMPLE 2 : Whitefield, Manchester

This project required the property to be extended to double the original size and included a full refurbishment and new roof carcass and covering.

A high specification fit out was undertaken to all rooms including a very high quality bathroom.
As you will see from the photographs it is difficult to believe that the property has undergone such a substantial extension.

EXAMPLE 3 : Whitefield, Manchester

One of Atkins' most recent projects, which consisted of the complete removal of the existing roof to enable the formation of a master bedroom and en-suite within the new roof space.  Also completed was an internal refurbishment of the remaining house, which included a new bespoke staircase to the ground and first floor, which complimented the other works perfectly.

All works were completed whilst the client continued to reside in the property which proved not to cause ourselves or the client any problems and demonstrates our hands on approach and attention to detail.

This project was individually designed with some of the features of the original house incorporated into the design of the new build.

• 8 bedrooms plus 5 ensuite bathrooms
• bespoke staircase
• underfloor heating
• concrete floors to minimise sound transmission
• integrated media sound system to all rooms
